We have to play with complete effort like we played last two games. That entails at least solid defense, and no major drops in energy or lapses into stupidity. This team seems to have a good quality though, which is they generally seem to have been able to mitigate that with exception of the Penn State loss. I also thought Mullin's timeouts were very timely and well placed. Each was called after a mini-run by Butler, and we came out after timeouts and executed to bring the game back. Whatever happened in the timeouts, it worked to settle us and re-focus.
DePaul just requires a solid 2 halves by our team, and solid gameplay by the coaches. We won against Butler in one of our worse shooting games, and in a game where Butler didn't play poorly and allow us to escape. Good team effort and we can compete.
