2 of the past 3 years, games at Providence, SJU has come out with a fire and seemed to carry over to the rest of the year.  Times are different, but playing these guys on road seems to ignite SJU.

Great half. Motivated on D.  Darien Williams is throwing that body around...nobody outmuscles him ever. I love that.  Please let this kid stay healthy and get his conditioning back next season.

We actually CAN defend a little and rebound better with more effort.  This is evidence of this.  We are also back to the type of offense we were playing before our losing funk, with more passing and getting to the rim.

That said, we still woefully need some inside players who can vacuum the ball at both ends.  Ellison is improving for sure.  Our freshmen guards are playing loose again.  Need to keep the effort at the defensive end and on the glass up.  Add Clark, Simon. Maybe Kennedy/5th year senior and we will definitely be improving.  I like the effort much better today.

Sloppy start to the half. Had to use two TOs before the first media TO.

What is Mussini good for if he can't hit that shot?
