or he is going off the unconfirmed earlier tweet of Shamorie which was taken down from what I understand. Who knows maybe all parties want to wait to make an official announcement but hopefully it is true.

Shamorie and Keita both non-coincidentally celebrated on social media, which was obviously frowned upon and deleted immediately. Was it premature? I'm completely speculating, but I think the University wants to act with complete professionalism and with correct order here as the NCAA closes Heron's account. They announce Cragg and his first order of business is to finalize and release this Heron news, just my guess.

Far too many rats and moles on the both the university side and NCAA side for a guy like Rothstein or Goodman to get a hold of it and announce it if it were indeed true

Looks like the Mike Rice ship has sailed for good, but Heron waiver imminent from all indications.  I’ll take that.  Can always hire a different assistant next season but Heron is a huge piece this year..

From what indications? 4 weeks until the season starts and no update. Does not look good.  Sounds like another Mike Rice goose chase.
