I hope the kid gets eligible but if St. John's is counting on a kid from Cleveland State to be a difference maker this season, it's going to be a LONG year.
Techically Cleveland St but never played a second there... We're relying on a kid from St. Francis (NY) of the NEC.
This is somewhat my point. We're not fighting over a blue-chipper that would propel St. John's into the Sweet 16.
I just think if St. John's has financial resources to burn it's probably better served elsewhere rather than legal fees against the NCAA to get Rasheem Dunn eligible.
Also if we really want to get down to it the school was incredibly well prepared for Mustapha Heron. They had an insurmountable amounts of evidence in black and white submitted to the NCAA. There was an expertise awareness level of what was needed to get the waiver.
I'm not so sure this was the case with Dunn. Should have been proactive as opposed to reactive.
