Things will get better next year fellas.

What happened to “it’s amazing what a great coach can do” for a rebuilding roster? Georgetown has 7 scholarship players BEFORE losing their leading scorer for this game.

We lost to a 9-loss team with 6 scholarship players. At home. To get swept.

Up one you hold the ball. If we score there is no one complaining.

You work the clock and move the ball for a good shot. That is not Allen iverson out there.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Imagine if you spent $40 a ticket. They should lower the price to basically free

Their 7 scholarship players are better than ours. Their depth is the only reason they didn’t win by double digits. They couldn’t play with that intensity the whole game, but they could for a half and it shows our players lack of skill and decision making.

Ewing has been at GT for a few seasons now, he has his players, let’s judge Anderson when he gets his.

I’ve never seen such poor execution down the stretch at this level.

Whatever the players do or don’t do falls completely on them. Anderson has no plan. No clue. He does nothing to free up any of his players or help in any way.

His “plan” with 3 seconds on the shot clock is to inbounds it to a stationary LJ and let him just figure it out? And that was one we actually made.

Holy sh*t.

We have two all conference picks, an awesome freshman, and a trio of sophs 9/10 teams in the league would take. And we were at home.

But we, not the team with just 6 scholarship players, are the team with the rebuilding roster?

Great contribution.

I want him gone get me Becker as coach! Enough, the problem is the board of directors they have no plan. Just want fill the Garden. Not win a Big East title or even NC. it’s just pack the Garden. My cousin played for Fisher at SDSU.

Rinse. Repeat. Can’t close out any games. Horrible execution. No ball movement. No plan.

This is 100 percent true. That second half was a disgrace

The prior possession or 2.. we had a few 2 on 1s but decided to pull the ball out with only a 1 pt lead. I felt like we should have continued to attack esp with under 2 min.

Despite SJ blowing a 17-point second half lead on national television to drop to 2-8 I give the coaching a solid 7.

We lost so I guess we have to blame the players

When we were up 17 you have to credit the coaches

9/10 would want our sophomores? Can’t wait for you to share that survey with us. This is why it’s a rebuilding year. Our players lack skills. The player on the team with the most skill is Champagnie. You knocked that addition. Anderson will bring in more players like him, multiple skill set.

Butler - 5 point lead with 3 mins left.
Seton Hall - 14 point lead with 16 mins left.
Georgetown - 17 point lead with 16 mins left.

That can't be 3 Ls.

Even I thought Anderson would win this game. When McClung, their leading scorer, was announced as out for the game I thought it was a 20-point win and a layup.

Even Kevin Clarke was able to beat Georgetown at home with walkons and only 5 scholarship players.

I agree that burning the clock and not looking to score cost us this game . IMO we gave the game away.

Players got the lead and lost it. I would have liked to see Rutherford play more. Anderson isn’t perfect...but he’s better than Mullin.

Yeah, I can’t wait to get rid of unskilled players like Heron and LJ for skilled guys like Wusu and Moore!

You are so dumb that you can’t even select the proper argument to make.

Anderson recruits raw athletes over skilled players. If a player is skilled it’s a secondary benefit. Athleticism and defensive versatility are what he wants. He tries to eliminate as many situations where skill and coaching are beneficial as possible.
