4 points and 5 boards..20 Min a game at Purdue was the 7th man in rotation for a good Purdue team. Solid depth seems he is a good defender and rebounds.....his dad was NY player I think Bishop Loughlin and was best friends was Norm Roberts. Wheeler said he grew up a St. John

fan and fav player was Kennedy but seems like he was not offered. Again solid piece but still need to hit somewhere big in portal.

Rasheem Dunn, using his extra year of eligibility has entered the transfer portal.

Heard some rumblings about a local New York City guard coming home to play. Would be a very nice get. Stay tuned!

I like what I’ve seen of Wheeler on the highlights. Good looking shot, seems like a nice big man fit for the current offense.

Still think we need a slasher, ton of unconverted fast breaks last year (mostly with Dunn trying to do it himself) but if that can be turned around we’ll be in good shape.

Earlington firsts Zoom Call is Bryant.....If that's an indicator of what he is looking for good riddance

Just a zoom call. It's a step down but Jarred Grasso is a very good recruiter. Earlington probably wants to showcase himself for a career overseas. I'm sure there will be others.

Good point...I figured he might end up at A-10 school maybe Fordham.

Also in other news saw we reached out to Texas Texh and VCU transfer Silva santos I believe he would be a home run get. Hoping for some good news this weekend with anyone

The Texas Tech guy is WAY better than Aiden especially as somebody who could be our 25-30 mpg starting 5 right off the bat. He'll have a ton of major programs going after, I doubt we'll be in the hunt

Would this NYC guard possibly be Alvarado?

Anderson needs to be  talking to the proven producers in the portal, gambling on bench warmers is risky if you want to compete for championships, however if keeping above. 500 is the benchmark to hang your hat on then Mike will likely find a way. The right combination from the portal is capable of getting a team in the final 4 an beyond, coaches have more opportunity than ever.

Sounds like we're about to get good news with Soriano from Fordham. Not a world-beater but would be the best true big we've had in a while.

I haven't seen him play but looking at his numbers from Fordham his strengths are he is an elite rebounder on both ends of the floor (Top 30 in both OReb% and DReb% out of all D1 players this season) and great shot blocker. He was also pretty efficient from the field and has no interest in floating out to the perimeter.

On the downside he's very turnover and foul prone. Hopefully playing with better players and having the defensive focus shifted off him will help limit his turnovers.

All in all would be a very solid get keeping him home after some solid competition was involved. Have needed a big like him badly for years.

Top 30% or top 30 overall?
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Top 30 overall of all CBB players. He grabbed 15.3% of possible offensive rebounds (16th overall) and 26.7% of all possible defensive rebounds (29th overall) while on the floor.

He just committed.
