I read the update article.  I believe Michael's uncle or the article's author might have left out "not"-

"Allan Chandler, Michael’s uncle, reiterated Wednesday that his nephew has (not) committed anywhere."  Or did he mean to say "some where" instead of "any where"?

Either with or without the "not" it is a very positive update.

The next week or so could be a recruiting musical chairs scenario at St. John's.  Who will have a scholarship with us when the music stops?

Sticking with what some posters had mentioned earlier, there are recruits who would fit into the 1-10 positions (heavy minutes) and those that would be 11-13 players (true role players).

I think Orlando, Jakaar, and Jamal are 1-10 players and Felix, Max and Marco are 11-13 players.  I also believe Michael and Josiah are 1-10 players, and perhaps Darrick.  The other potential visitors seem to be 11-13 players.

It will depend on who we play. We couldn't contend with a zone, much less play one. Hooper and Bourgault are here to beat the zone.

Know he spent time in NY last month, perhaps unofficial. He cancelled his twitter account, but prior to that made reference to being here. I could be wrong, but remember that Marco.
