I know it's freaking addictive. LOL   I think I'm going to go up to saratoga in a couple of weeks for a day. It's fun as long as I'm not losing every race :)

Wow, great job by Lavin and the staff.  If they don't lose anyone to one and dones, the 2012 team will be stacked and could win a national title.

Amazingly Rivals/Yahoo not only doesn't have the story, they don't even have SJU as a "school of interest" for Ricardo!

Not likelyh, but given his game, is Ricardo any relation to the late Hank Gathers?  Also a 6-7 rebounding beast with a nice mid-range game.

cr I hope they're related as to how they play the game! This is awesome news.  Once again, let's have Law of Increasing Returns go into effect for 2012! Congrats to Ricardo and the staff - Ricardo's making a great choice

Just scanning other boards, people are fearing Lavin.  LSU fans are bummed about losing the top kid in the state.  Also intersting was that it was damn hard to find a basketball board for a lot of the SEC and Big 12 schools.  Don't see what a basketball kid would ever want to go to a school where basketball will be in the 2nd position at all times.

Maybe, word is if the NCAA gives Momo a waiver and allows him to play this year Gathers will feel the need to enroll at SJU in 2011 to make sure Iona does not supplant SJU as the no. 1 team in the area!!!  LOL!!

Absolutely awesome news!  Kid is a beast so he's perfect for the Big East, NYC, MSG, etc...He'll see how appreciated hark work, defense and rebounding is in NYC
