Ive been on the mark lately

I don't care what Baldi does.  I just want Gathers here.  He's uber important.  He's as dominant of a PF as is out there.  Monstrous next to Harkless and potentially Obekpa and others.

Ricardo Gathers Recruiting Update (Kentucky, St. John's, Baylor, LSU, N.C. State)

Thought his comments were weird in this video. He says "Hopefully" he's one of the recruits at St. John's next year. It definitely seems like if the choice was just up to him, he'd be locked up for us, but others are getting in his way.

Just read on ESPN insider that Baylor could be out in front after this visit, and also that he could be holding out for Kentucky to offer him a scholarship.

Joke all you like but clearly Baylor has some advantages.  When have we ever signed a top 10 recruit in three straight classes? 
And it's not like Ricardo is a city guy from the Northeast.    Baylor and UF worry me.

Here's the exact line from the piece:

"Could the big-time atmosphere at Baylor have pushed the Bears out in front, or are St. John's, Florida, NC State and Duke still in the picture?"

That's it.  They don't even answer the question.  It's just a tease.  The rest of the article does quote Rico as wanting to hear from Kentucky but the Baylor advantage isn't really explicitly stated much less substantiated.

2013 St. John's will.

UF is not a concern just as Duke wasn't.

Kentucky won't get involved because they are on bigger fish.

Baylor is legit concern as they are with Sampson.

St. John's has Steve Lavin.
