Chris McCullough - Forward - Salisbury School (CT)- New York, NY - SYRACUSE

I assume we will have staff at Boo Williams tourney this weekend to watch Chris McCullough, who just received a Kansa offer. Love this kid!

KOB, Most folks here think we are in great shape for Chris, but I remain cautious. Considering the competition, I am happy to be well into the hunt. Your sense of where we sit, if you can? Thx man!

Until we sign a kid, always have to remain cautious.  Just remember that we were all over McCullough before almost any of these schools.  We remain in hot pursuit.  He's not a recruit we will be out recruited for I don't believe, even if we don't land him.  McCullough and Lawrence are big priorities.  We'll always be fighting off the big boys for top 10 kids.  Nature of the beast.

Interesting.  A lot of things out there have said its his dad, especially after Sean Miller, his former teammate got involved in recruiting him.  Regardless there is some connection, would love to know for sure.

References similarity of his game and Lawrence. Hopefully our style of play will appeal to both of them, rather than a perceived conflict. First things first, get Lawrence and then sell Chris on compatibility issue. IMO getting these two would rank up there with any back to back recruits we have ever gotten. Mullin/Berry, if correct, perhaps in a league of its own.

Plus, by the time Chris is eligible I Think JaKarr would have gone pro.  If both he and Moe get drafted in the first round it'll make an impression on Chris.
