greene has yet to score but this is the best ive seen him look as a point guard this year. Handling and passing real well

These guys improve tremendously each game

Finally comfortable in the system.  No longer thinking too much, just playing.

Agreed.  It's nice to see.   We may not win but this is good basketball.

No Moe or Harrison to close the half is rough

We shoud've tried to go 2 for 1 there.  great half overall there though.  To keep the lead without Harrison/Harkless is a minor miracle.

We're certainly in this game, folks.  Looking forward to our squad coming out of Milwaukee with a win.   ;)

Thats a win right there in my book. Holding on to the win while moe and deagnelo are on the bench. Puts us in great position

I'm sure that was the game plan.  Keep the lead or within a point or two with those two on the bench.  If Marquette went on a run, one or both of them were coming back in.

How about Pitt down at home to Rutgers...The demise of Pitt this year has been something to watch, wow.

I posted on RM that this team's interior passing is really starting to look like last year's team around this time. Things just started to click (coaching staff is amazing) and they were making great passes all the time. You can even see any time a ballhandler goes one way, the guy cuts the other direction. It's a beautiful thing to watch. That pass by Amir to GG was terrific (but GG didn't finish).

We still have our deficiencies (size, scoring except for DH and MH, depth, rebounding) but man....they look much, much improved. lol @ nuri

Also, this is the same type of progression we saw with our zone defense as we did last year.  Looked brutal for the first half of the year then became really formidable.  I can't wait to see what a team looks like when they've already had a years experience of the zone.
