Summer Recruiting Period

Starts next week.  Remember the changes that were made so as to add 2 live weekends in April. 

July use to have two 10 day Evaluation periods for a total of 20 live recruiting days.  They have cut that down to 3 5-day stretches starting next week.  So instead of 20 it is now 15.  The tradeoff was they added two weekends to April that did not exist before this year so coaches were allowed to attend AAU events in April that they were not allowed in previous years.  Remember SJU hosted recruits both of those weekends this year thus making it difficult to be on the road recruiting.

The 5 day stretches are: July 11-15, July 18-22 and July 25-29.  Peach Jam, Hoop Group, Vegas are some of the big events.

Using Fivestarbasketball.com looks like these are the tournaments for each of those buckets Fordham mentioned.

Which is so dumb because haven't games been going on all day?

Any one know if any of our coaches are at any of the events going on? Figure they got to be watching Lawrence, whitehead or McCullough.

I still think we'll pop up on a few more kids radars before this is all over.  We have a small net out there right now, but who knows if we'll have one ship or more for 13'.

I know McCullough is at the Peach Jam. Juice All Stars (Whitehead) I think are in Milwaukee. I am not sure where Lawrence and the Rens are this weekend.

Jefferson named his final 7 and Reed named his final 8 and SJU is in neither.   Rutgers made Jefferson's final 7 so that makes sense, SHU is probably there for Colbert.

Not sure why SJU is there.
