Bad time out by steve IMO. Save it in case we cant pass the ball in.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Nice win. Not always pretty but hard fought. They really came together in the 2nd half.

TO at the end, and Det had a desperation shot to tie.  But StJ holds on 77-74.

Solid win - night and day first and second half.

D'Angelo played like a leader, Greene really looks improved, and Obekpa...just wow!

Young team with great 2nd half, lots of poise shown - CONGRATS..!!

Definitely impressive. Great win! A lot of positives. Jakarr and Dom were the only negatives.

Great win. They showed a lot of toughness. Obekpa is an absolute beast. I think if we have to worry about anyone going pro next year it's him.

Phil Greene looked like he worked on his shot all summer. Harrison didn't look like himself in the first half, but played fantastic in the 2nd.

He still is undersized and has little offensive game. I think he stays for 3 years. But I never thought he would be a 4 year guy.

Phil with 20 pts, 6 assists, 7 rebs
Amir with a double/double - 15 pts 11 rebs
D'lo  22 pts, 5 rebs, 3 steals
Obekpa 7 pts 9 rebs 7 blocks per the broadcast - I had him with 9.
Christian with 8pts  3 assists  - nice debut

What's great is you KNOW Sampson, 2 pts, 5 rebs,  2 blocks, 1 assist - was just nervous energy - he WILL settle down in coming games.

Sloppy, as first games are wont to be, but SO many good things to take away from it.

I have to revise one prediction - Obekpa's gonna play a LOT more than 20 minutes a game.

Great Win! Big Second half comeback against a seasoned team, great for our young guys. Obekpa wow!

Now lets hope Detroit dominates their league and picks off some of the big boys they were mentioning they have on their schedule.

A great win to start the year. They played like a young team for long stretches. Watching them grow up and mature is going to be great!

Just a reminder, Miss St.s Vanardo (6'9 230), D-1s all time leading shot blocker (564), DID stay 4 years - and after 3 years, still hasn't made the NBA.
