I'm a fan of Harrison, but his games against the better teams this year have been pretty bad on the whole. I thought maybe it was just a funk that he was in, but maybe this is just what he can do (or can't do) when good teams are deternined to take him out of the game.

Too much standing around and 1 on 1 on offense. Wont be successful doing that against good defensive teams like Pitt

Just all around bad offensive game today.  Nothing more.  Too bad it came today, now the pressure is on to win 2 of next 3.

Can't compete with them man to man, but maybe a zone could have worked. Hopefully next season our staff will be more competent concerning red shirting and eligibility issues.

At some point can Lav, Rico, Darrick, Tony, Moe, Derrick and Gene come up with something other than dribbling with no plan and forced shots??? C'mon please enough with the excuses you can't tell me this is the best we can do, a bunch of air balls amnd forced shots?? Trust me i love Lavs but we need a pure x's and o's type guy back on bench even if it means someone on current staff goes. We are not good enough to just roll the ball out there and let them play.

And the half hearted commitment to defense just allows so many easy buckets. Who's responsible for instilling passion defensively say what you want, but maybe Malik booth can come down from his seat during games and light a fire under these guys.

They no showed in the 2nd half.  Plain and simple.
Led by Harrison.  Only guys out there playing today were Chris, Amir and Dom (albeit out of control more than not)

Guys, DLo is still a sophamore. Let's not forget that. If he's not ready to take over games against top teams, that's fine. He's young. He'll get there. We were manhandled inside today. Point that finger at the staff.

2 regular season and 1 BET game could still probably do it.

? WHAT will 18-12 accomplish? If we lose first BET game 18-13  not getting in and I would not feel confident of 19-13 either. On more win gets an NIT bid if that is what you were going for.

Harrison doesn't have the quickness or athletic ability to seperate himself from a skilled defender.  The only kid that can create a shot on this team against top competition is Phil Greene.  Watching Sampson and Pointer handle the ball from the perimeter is just painful...watching them try to shoot off the dribble is even worse.

This is not a tournament team...they simply do not deserve it.  Time to set our sights on next year.

Just back from game and I didn't read through the 11 pages but can understand why everyone was so involved as the team was not.  Did the TV announcers discuss why Harrison was not playing today ;)

Phil's problem was that he hit 3 of his first 4 and thought he could do it all and then did not get an assist the rest of the game.

Sir, Amir and Chris gave it all, albeit not enough to carry the load.

Woodall looked good for Pitt but don't think the 7'2" guy is one and done unless he is turning pro in the NZBA (New Zealand).

Only problem with Greene is do we really want him seperating? Had his normal 5-13. Honestly he played better the game he went 0-7. I thought he was a ball stopper today and did his circle thing 3 or 4 times. Honestly some of you are easily impressed. Guy hit 4 shots in a row misses 9 or 10 others and some of you think this is a good thing????

He certainly can create them. It's just a shame he can't make them.
