Yes. i thought Whitesell was the missing magic ingredient that would quickly allow one of the most talented teams in the nation to realize their full potential.
unfortunatelly when watching the Wisc game it still looked like a typical Lavin coached offense, with minimal apparent Whitesell influence.

You're right, criticism comes with the territory. But with certain posters, about 90% of their posts take some sort of shot at Lavin, or the team, or posters who actually support the team. I just don't understand why you'd choose to post on a fan forum if 90% of your posts are going to be bashing the team/coach when overall we are better off than we've been in a decade.

And sadly, I get a feeling that certain posters are almost foaming at the mouth to see us lose to Wagner or another OOC cupcake so they can relish in being right on an online forum. I hope I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I get with certain posters.

Some twisted people might take joy in being right. But those people aren't STJ fans.
If Lavin isn't the guy, we have to start all over again.

I still think he's THE guy, OUR, guy to get us there, even if he doesn't excel at every part of the game.

I have been very critical of lavin. But it seems like I very high expectations . Think we have better players then Wisconsin . That's why I have been so mad. I am hoping for a much better showing. Hope lavin has the boys ready to play. It seems like I have been confrontational lately . I really do enjoy the board . No one I am close to likes St. John's. Very tired of losing. Want lavin to be succeful. No excuse to lose any games on campus. Don't care how good bucknel may be.
