Guys, ask baldi a straight up question and he'll give you a straight up answer. Play around and go back and forth with him and this is what you'll get. Just like Dom Pointer, baldi is at his best when the game gets into an up and down chaotic mess.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

What is the truth as you see it?  Please be clear.  Thank you.

He got sent home to figure out if he really wants to be a part of this program. He needs to get his act together, hopefully that happens.

Baldi, is this speculation ?  Didn't you post that Lavin was leaving this job two years back?

No, that is how it went down. Put the pieces together.

As for Lavin leaving, see  Dave's response above

Baldi puts forth a plausible theory for the chain of events surrounding the absences of Jordan this year. Also, we know from D'lo's situation last year that Lavin won't hesitate to suspend even the team's best player during a push for the tourney for disciplinary reasons.   Let's hope that, whatever the reason, Jordan comes out better for it, and only leaves SJU for the draft.

The issues is that Baldi comments can be very snarky. Instead of saying there are sources that saying that Jordan was told by SL that he needs to decide what he wants to do. He will post Jordan is gone, or he is going to Temple. The facts come after the antagonistic headline. The fact that he is a big Iona fan.

Baldi is not a hater, but he is an antagonizer

What fun would that be?

Snarky. I can deal with that. I've been called worse. Rest assure, Jordan was close to gone

What made him stay?

Amase, I can agree with that ! The long, drawn out process sometimes brings out more info. There's a method to the madness..

I bet Coach Lavin and his assistants have been laughing at the ridiculous blog speculation the last few days and had just a tinge of relief when  Rysheed returned to practice.  NCAA's here we come!
Nothing to say coach and Sheed have not been in touch on regular basis and coach new he was returning. Sheed plays with a great bunch of guys, and the staff seems to be the kind that will work with a kid. There was a reason he picked SJU to begin with. His moms health was in question before he committed. Most kids even in tough times need a reason to leave. No way I can or want to make a decision for the kid, but I think he's in a good place with people he can trust.

What made him stay? That I don't know, but from my expert opinion...I. would think there is no downside for him coming back. His chances at the NBA are better if he continues his exposure and playing. If he wants to transfer, he has a great chance at a waiver to play right away with Lavins pushing of mother health issues

Hopefully Rysheed realizes that.

Baldi your mistake was saying he was leaving, when that
statement was premature. That said I believe your explanation and appreciate your honesty.l

And if you had just said what you said in the previous three or four posts, people would have appreciated the information.  It was what one or two others told me on PM.  The other comments are what make people think you are full of s*** and simply trying to stir the pot with nonsense for absolutely no reason.

Whatever- If he decides to leave after the season, we will get someone else.  Let him do what he wants. STJ will be fine.

I hope his mother gets well.

As for those who believe Sheed is posting on Instagram, today it became obvious that someone else is doing it. There was a post that came up today during player intros, obviously not Sheed. The accout in question appears to be managed by one of his siblings, a few of which are here today at Barclays.

There is an account that posted at 1230 so 2 hours before the game telling people to tune in and watch him on FS1.  He probably has multiple accounts.

Baldi has something like 11 million posts and you are just figuring out he is not a SJU fan ;D
Personally I like Bluto and don't take him serious. For the record once Norm was fired and Lavin was hired I called the heel turn for Baldi on BEB. For those who do not remember Baldi was a huge Norm "supporter" er I mean pot stirrer on BEB. Being anti Lavin is blasphemous to some of you so Baldi might not be appreciated as much as when he was questioning SJU fans wanting Norm fired. In fact Choz once even called him the voice of reason on BEB. ;D
Bluto is a nice change of pace from the Lavin stepford fans IMO

BTW I love Fordham constantly calling out posters of being fans of other teams. I am not sure he actually sees the irony in this however.

I know for a fact that Marco is a diehard Johnny fan.  I'm just pleased that his head is above water and that he's getting his mojo back.

Baldi used to be a world class troll but now he's just going through the motions. It's like watching Willie Mays circle under a fly ball circa 1969, or watching Robert Deniro act.

Baldi's decline is very similar to Tiger Woods. World class pot stirrer and world class golfer.

Baldi's decline has to do solely with his new girlfriend.  The guy went from posting a million times a week to flying first class, traveling more than me,going to awards shows VIP Style and dining at the best restaurants.

He's definitely lost his pent up rockaway  rage :)

Guys, I have known Marco for almost 20 years...   while an Iona fan first he is definitely a fan of St. John's and nobody can question that fact. I didn't graduate from SJU either but I as big a fan as everyone here. I also root for Seton Hall too, doesn't change the fact that I love St. John's hoops.

As for Jordan and whether or not he as going to leave...  that word was all over the basketball community that he was going to transfer. I heard it from local reporters, fellow posters, AAU guys and other Div I assistants. Since no one here is on staff and no one is in Jordan's inner circle, the truth is never going to be known to more than a few people. I am just happy the kid decided to stay. His game needs A LOT of work but he has a ton of potential and if he works at it will be playing in the NBA in a few years but if this kid ever thought he was a one and done, he was nuts and anyone who was telling them was not being honest with him either.
