Start Dom on McDermott crowd him and let him stay on him until he fouls out.

Should be 12 min mark of 1st half :)

i think you have to give McD different looks.  Dom, Sampson, Obekpa, Sanchez.  Our guys are faster than him (maybe not sanchez) and try our best to disrupt his rhythm.  I think we stick with our same gameplan, but try to limit his opportunities.

Mark it on your calendars.  I agree with Wasju.  I don't know why Oblockpa was guarding him on the penultimate possession.

Dom suckers guys into offensive fouls. Better shot of getting the call at home I guess. We need a guy jumping a lane when Dougie starts his move, and Dom sliding back waiting. Is Creighton so disciplined that we can't count on any home cooking?

BOX and UNO!

Their team shoots it too well as whole IMO.

He's sees several pink elephants a game get called for charging due to Pointer's stellar D.

We need to disrupt their offense as much as possible.

Box and one would be death.  Agree with putting DOM on McD for a lot of the game, his quickness should work to an extent.  If he goes inside double some but not all as McD is also a great passer and a consistent double could lead to too many inside out 3s.  Lavin will have to get creative if that is possible.

Our full court pressure spurred our comeback 2 weeks ago, why change that.

BOX and UNO!

If we want them to score a 100.  Are you serious?
In all honesty, this is the type of player Sampson should be able to shut down.  Armwood of GW is a 6'9 post players and shut McDermott down by staying with him on the perimeter and manning up down low.  I don't mind Obekpa on him...hopefully it won't come down to the last possession.

This is a statement game.

We come out and stomp, put together 2 halves, and win by 20+.

Sheed jukes all those creighton kid's out of their jock straps. This time he throws down that spin move in the lane, gets fouled, pounds chest, hits FT.

Is it just me or were the refs in the PC game REALLY lenient? Both teams were getting killed going to the basket and no fouls were being called.

Chronic, I agree about the refs letting them play.  Oddly, it worked to both teams advantage.  They have fewer bodies and couldn't afford to get into foul trouble.  On the other hand, we couldn't afford to send them to the line because they shoot free throws at 90%.

Good point.

Can't believe how well they shoot their FT's. Also wanted to note, I second those feeling the Cooley hate, it looked like he hates Lavin more than "Needs2Go"

Actually, refs weren't really lenient with us.  It was the end of game forced fouls that lead to it evening up a bit.  We actually shot more FT's because they were forced to foul us, but both halves we were in the bonus long before Providence was.  In the second half, they were in the bonus and Providence had no fouls at all called on them at all until they started  purposefully fouling.  It only worked to our advantage because we were beating them up on the court for most of the game.

One of the few reasons we hung around in the last game was their sloppiness.  It seemed like they turned it over on every other possession.  Some of that is credit to StJ's defense, some was just sloppy play on their part.  If they clean up that part of their game, I think they will sweep the series.

If you notice, Providence was a bit sloppy with the ball too.  I think we deserve most of the credit for Creighton's sloppy play.
