@JayOn_1: Yes Phil is leaving #sjubb announcement probably tomorrow
Quote from: paultzman on April 06, 2014, 01:23:52 PM@JayOn_1: Yes Phil is leaving #sjubb announcement probably tomorrowWasn't much of a Phil fan, but still, what is going on that is making these kids want to leave. Phil appears to be a very solid kid, does things the right way off the court. Staff has to look in the mirror and change the way they are doing things.
He was really good friends with Obekpa, that must be the only reason he's leaving. Because he's leaving 30 minutes a game on the table.
The guy has been right a lot but I am hearing Phil is not transferring.

I'm thinking he just tweets news that is already known. maybe he workds in the sports info department.
Felix is twice as good as Phil, peace phil

Personally, I am not that upset about Phil leaving insofar as it impacts the team on the court. Off the court, however, I think the transfer speaks volumes about the state of program. And just. Because Phil and Obekpa are close friends doesn't justify Phil's decision to transfer from a program he has the least of all current players to complain about, at least from the outside observer's perspective.
