Biggest win for the program in 4 years. Very happy for the staff and players, most vindicating win of the seniors' careers thus far!

Nice job by the whole squad. Especially Harrison and Greene. You could just see this game meant more to them than anyone else on the court. Great job guys, you deserve it.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH We finally beat those f'ing shit bag. FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Syracuse We win you lose DAMMIT I'll admit it, after the game was over I had tears, and I was shaking and still am, I'm so freaking pumped. And yeah I get on Lavin like no other, but this game was his best win, with his recruit at St. John's. This is to Johnny Flynn and all his buddy's on the bench that night, dancing on the sidelines as their bench players launching threes on us. Remember them laughing just tclowning on us. Remember Waiters while up 25pnts, trying to take the ball from Harrison, as he was just trying to kill the final :10, just to put it in our face. #$%^ YOU, YOU RAT BASTARDS. we win and you lose dammmmmmmmit. Be back later gotta try to relax

this post pretty much sums it up

Would have loved having Gus and Raf doing this game. Exciting, well played game. Fantastic win, let's keep it going and start filling up the Garden.

Great win!!!!!     F Cuse!!!!  So glad this team got this win.  This group deserves everything they can get this year.

Phil Greene is starting to become the closer on this team.  Imagine that?   With the game on the line in the closing minutes I'm starting to look for PGIV to shoot the ball.  I really hope the success of this team convinces the recruits that special things can happen if you win in nyc.

Note Doms line, 9p,8rb,5asst,3blocks.....His play at the high post the key to this win.  Without it we are reduced to passing the ball around the perimeter and settling.  Great job by Lavin, team was ready.  CO 16 boards against 2 quality bigs....great game.

I see Cuse finishing 6th in the ACC this season.

Then ACC will only get 5 bids--Excuse has no backcourt

I will not be surprised to see 5, maybe ND sneaks in some how to make 6

So Lavin supposedly starts wrong players, plays wrong defense, has no front line depth, wastes his time outs, never has team prepared, never develops players, etc, etc ,etc, but we win and win big. Where are the negative nabobs now? The naysayers dominate this board with repetitive and tiresome criticisms and hijack every post, but now that the team is ascending, they disappear. They rip our players and staff incessantly, but now-----silence. Time to man up and admit you were wrong or better yet, start posting elsewhere,

Don't you get it? Lavin is the worst strategic coach of all time. When we lose it's 100% his fault. When we win, it's all because of our supremely talented players playing great in spite of Lavin.

Just saw news highlights of game and they confirmed what I thought I saw at the end of the game as Classless Boeheim virtually ignored Lavin at end of game--he said nothing, just stuck his hand out but did not even look a Lavin.   This despite their shared prostate cancer and this game being played during Coaches vs. Cancer week.  He always was a crying Richard Head.  Excuse can't lose enough for me.

No. You could argue strategy and complain about any coach, that is true. The most basic thing a coach can do is play his best players and put them in the position to succeed. The rest is up to the players for the most part. For the last 2 years coach did a bad job with the above. He did a great job of it with the Hardy team. So far he has done a good job this season, though I personally disagree with his handling of Jordan.

I dunno what happened with CO in the off season but he has come back a man. He fought so hard for every rebound. Congrats to you.
