St. John's wins easy...    15- 20 point win

Love the thought but we haven't beaten them like that in I can't remember when.

this is a trap game need to destroy  the Hall  and be ready for monday night, hopefully a better turnout than last year vs. Xavier

HTF is any game a trap game when your fighting desperately to get into the ncaa Tournament?
We've seen this team play up or down to the level of competition many times.  Pointer confirmed it by saying they only play well when their backs are against the wall.  Like you said, they need to understand that their backs are against the wall every game for the rest of the season, but on paper this might be our easiest remaining game (given the Gibbs injury and the way they've been playing), so the fear is they will take SHU lightly - something they cannot afford to do.
With D'lo hurting, Dom needs to be the leader of this team until D'lo is healthy.  Obviously, every game, the coaching staff should have the players mentally prepared, but the players who are leaders need to do their part as well.

Also, when we are up  20 at the half, we should want to win by 40 rather than letting the other team back in the game while we  are just trying to hang on.

EXACTLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Why not try to give a team a bad ass beating. Have no merycy, when you have a team wounded you target the juggala and rip it out and make sure it's dead, let them have no hope at all for a come back.
Get that killer instint.

I hope next year we are done punishing Seton Hall. I would much rather be at the garden then Alumni Hall.

20 point w is no better than 40. Unless spots 9-14 get to the 40 points, i would sign up today for 20 rest starters then On to the next one.

They are going to come out with extra motivation for this game because of that. They feel disrespected that they play at CA rather than MSG, and they should

Dlo didn't practice. Dont think it means a lot for his status tomorrow. I don't see anyway he doesn't play, hopefully just resting him.

Just got an email, no bobbleheads tomorrow. Something about a labor strike on the west coast.

Also last year Senior Day was at MSG vs DePaul.

Team will be taking the game very seriously .  Relax mullin berry
Problem is they seem to only be capable of taking one game in a row seriously and than the urgency seems to wain in the very next game. Can't afford to be pumped for the Hall and than immediately let down again 2 days later vs Xavier. We have been hearing about unfinished business all season well if you don't want the business to remain unfinished how about getting up for every game starting now. You only play twice a week, what else would you rather be doing? I'd give my left tat to be playing in these games.

The point I'm making is that we come out passive, trying to just preserve the lead.  Next thing you know, the opponent makes a run amd the pressure is on.  See the Xavier game.

I'm ok with that. It makes me uncomfortable to think of a Malik Sealy Bobblehead. He's not some iconic American sports God that died in the 1940s. A figurine works for me. That's appropriate because it's respectful. And somehow it needs to convey that a bank shot has either been hit, or is about to be.

7.5 point favorites . I think we cover . You guys are just nervous. Harrison plays and plays well. Not as big a fan of obekpa as most of you guys. However he has played very good defense lately. Even though he is hurt i think he makes up for New Years eve.

Again exactly.  They talk the talk, how about f'ing walking the walk. 5 games left, lets see wtf they got. It's almost march, the end is creeping slowly on the seniors. DLo, Dom, Green, Branch, N o regrets remember?

How will you guys feel to have never have made the ncaa tourny?   Guess you better push yourselves a bit more.

Not me.  I know I'm in the minority but I would rather have them at Alumni than at the Garden.

By playing them in Queens, it's a slight to their ego. So because of that, I'm ok with it.

if it gives an edge and makes business sense too, who can argue?
