I think Mullin would do a job simply because he is such a hard worker with great attention to detail and knowledge of the game. It's still a little bit of a risk because he hasn't coached before and nobody knows how he would adapt to all of the nuances, including going out and recruiting which is the lifeblood of a program. Plus if things go awry,mit becomes very difficult to fire your program's golden boy
I'd love Danny Hurley. Those Hurley's were born into coaching and recruiting so they know every corner. Danny Hurley would be a great choice imo. I think Hurley is the best and safest choice for the job most likely. I think that while Mullin could really be a home run, Hurley has the whole package and is ready to go.
