He'll be paid to play ball somewhere. The saga ends with him making more money that 99% of the people in this country. So, it ends pretty damn well. The only disappointing part of his career is that he's not playing on this team, because he'd be by far and away the best player.
He is burning a lot of bridges with his disappearing acts. He may get some play for pay opportunities, but hope he can work hard wherever he goes. He had need to go back to Philly from Queens at drop of a hat. Can't see him content in a foreign country. Kid needs guidance. Agree with your " best player" comment, but he just wanted no part of school.
True, and it was obviously foolish of him to flunk out. I have no idea what lead to his release from the D League, but that's not a good sign for his NBA prospects. He should probably head over to Europe, or elsewhere. I thought that once he returned from the Butler absence where he cost us a win, he played very well. He looked like an NBA player to me in the Feb/March games.
That being said, I can't hate on him because I have no idea what really happened, and why he was absent.
