The guy practically tripled doubled in his first game in three years, but he's "not a good basketball player." If he's not a good baskteball player we could use three more guys who stink.

Nothing I saw from Felix in his brief time on the court thus far made me think he could be anything more than a role player. 
Can you honestly say you saw something different?   Only Marillac, with is infinite wisdom, considered Balamou and Jones to be future all-conference players.

Proclaimed myself president of the Felix Balamou Fan Club in a BEB post in November 2012. Compared to me Marillac is a Johnnie come lately.

Closer to a tie.  Points for me recognizing he should be play bigger a week into his career.

What happened to the +1/-1 feature ?

Far be it from me to temper the fire, but he shot 33% from the field and could not finish anything but an uncontested lay-in and that was an adventure.  He reminded me of Cedrick Jackson.
 
The level of effort, athleticism and fearlessness he displayed was outstanding!

He and Mr. Jones will finally have huge roles this season.  Will be interesting how it plays out.

I have always liked Balamou, but have always been the most vocal critic of Jones from day one.  That is Amaseinyourface's guy.  I believe to this day that if Balamou started two years ago, we would have danced and been a threat to win once there.
