Jones improved offensively this year. He is lost on defense, but if the guy can score the ball, can't the staff coach him up? There were plenty of games where he and Amar were the only guys scoring. Not saying he's our best player, but he'll be a 5th year senior on a team with less experience than any other in our conference, and probably anywhere else, too.
Offensively, (I've said this before) I see some similarities to Anthony Glover. Defensively, he needs to learn how to box out, and how to recognize what's happening. He may have been here for 4 years, but don't we get the distinct impression that once he proved to be clueless, Lavin just completely forgot about him? With a point guard creating opportunities for him, he will improve, because he won't have to force the offense. He was trying to dribble through 3 defenders last year, and while that's never a good idea, if everyone else is just standing around there aren't exactly options.
Let's hope he stays and has a great senior year. We've seen worse players than CJ breakout before.
