Anyone who kills Trimble should look at Divincenzo’s  numbers in his 8 games as a true freshman.

How's my guy Donte doing?

Donte a pro.. If you look at their roster, it’s older in terms of age for their grades. Donte, bridges, and Spellman, all rs guys who will be pros.  This is as good of a program as u will see in terms of building a roster for years to come.

Everybody is exposed when defending a guy like Ponds who isn’t even a compete player...yet.  Nova has the depth.  Bottom line is he’s still a very good player...

How is Ponds not a complete player? 🤔 Don't let WASJU b.s. shooting hypothesis sway you. Ponds is one of the best shooters in the conference...he just doesn't get shots. He will next year.

I said... yet.  He needs more strength, and better man-defense.  He is amazingly crafty with steals, etc, but  could always improve.  A bit better judgement on offense at times as well, but this isn’t a criticism.  Just sophomore normal stuff.  The kid is amazing...   he needs better cast and some more maturity, that’s it..

Bet his numbers didn't include being 25 lbs. overweight and playing while out of shape.

Divincenzo continues to kill it.  Trimble will be fine, but our strength and conditioning team sucks... get that guy from Long Beach back who re-built his own house by himself.... he had our guys in great shape!

He’s not, but tonight he certainly is.. he’s bigger too which makes him a better prospect at this point.

Tonight he is, absolutely.

Wouldn't surprise if Spellman declares. A big 2 years out of HS.

I said and Mike Vaccaro wrote a few weeks ago that SJU goal was to get to Villanova's level.  I think he is still right.  But Chris Mullin has to be watching tonight and say if we are to get to that level we need to get better in every facet.  Because that is the best program in America right now.

And SJU has a lot of work to do.

You're out of your mind. A white kid blocks two shots at rim level and people go crazy. Ponds abused him. He straight up made him look ridiculous. Booth scored 20 points in the national championship game against a much better team two years ago and nobody made these claims.

Not getting involved in who is better but the two hand block was well above rim level.

Can you just shutup with staff plans and goals? Villanova has won two national championships in three years. Everyone wants to get to that level.

Your last line is an understatement. It’s nice to see a BE champion. I’m waiting for the day we win an NCAA tourney game.

A lot of work is understated.  I hope he has no ego in terms of what it will take.  I’m certain he wants the best for SJU but I’m not sure he really knows what it is at this point, which is what scares me.  I think that Mullin thinks basketball coaching is as easy as basketball was for him to be successful at... its not at all...

In Europe. He has no chance to play a meaningful career in the NBA.

Now that Nova made us enough money to hire an assistant coach, there are no excuses...
