If Hsu was in Nebraska with Matt A there would be a First 48 episode about the incident that followed within three years.

Hsu will turn this biotch around single-handedly. You get two coaches in one.

Some of you anti-transfer guys might change your minds with some of the fellas he brings in.

I have to admit, I don't know anything about him except the allegations against him

We need to get this ship set the right way

Hsu has brought in studs Hollingsworth, Bassey and landed Mitchell Robinson to WKU. His efforts have led to rebuilds at Binghamton, CSBU, New Mexico and now Western Kentucky.

Borman would keep us in w Tabor and immediately give us real hope in bringing in Cisse and Kuminga. Duke (Cragg) Brooklyn, native. Major inroads within the city.

Much needed upgrades w these two.

You have no clue what happens at basketball schools. It’s hysterical. EVERY SINGLE program in the country has to babysit a dozen kids that don’t belong in college. Alex Evans used to literally run around in an anxious mess to make sure players would go to class. Tutors read to the students like children! Tutors are paid to write papers in clean schools and to write papers and f*ck the players in dirty schools.

If such a close investigation took place and Hsu only offered some gas $ and to HELP re-word a paper that makes him one of the cleanest assistant coaches in the country!

I literally changed my career after coaching JUCO to never deal with that babysitting again. The coach that groomed me was also the AD and offered me the head coaching job and I chose to go suffer though law school instead.

And BTW those stupid allegations — on par with what Jay Wright got caught doing — are the only thing keeping him being a hot shot head coach.

If what you're saying is true, why does the NCAA bother pretending about its amateur status?

As slime ballish as it sounds he makes a good point lol. Let’s not kid ourselves, you think Duke is clean? and they are revered. Although I must say we’re to stupid to cheat. We’ll get caught and be made a lesson of.

Even worse we'll be the only school to cheat and still not win.

$$$

If they abandon the facade of amateurism they’d have to start paying the players. That means less money for the conferences, schools and coaches. Can’t have that

Neither of these guys are X's and O's specialists. These moves will not change the problem next year. Just two glorified recruiters. This team needs a real coach with a real plan on the court. This is more of the same little league cr*p. Not fixing anything. Recruiting isn't the core issue. Coaching is.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Hsu is a monster. He has head coaching experience. He can coach up guards like few others. Look out for Wiliams with him around.

Hsu was 3-1 as the interim head coach this past year with two road wins. You have no idea how big of an upgrade this is. St. Jean and Hsu in the same video room will lead to results.

Because most people don’t know. He NCAA is all about money. Nobody would pay to watch these kids if their was no school affiliation. It’s what’s makes it personal to the fans.

I once saw Alex Evans near tears with a shaky voice outside of CA pleading for one of his players to go to class or he would be dropped from the class. Then he yelled on his cell phone “I’m trying to find him” hung up and whined “I can’t do this anymore!”  That’s college basketball behind the scenes.

Lmao @ your high chair seat comment on Redmen. A lot of drama has left for the NBA and Nebraska. Let's hope that we're bringing in a fresh wave of professionalism and sustainability in the very near future. It's time to press the reset button and mature in all areas.

Not what I heard.  Rumor was you were passed over due to "character issues".

Isn't it true you banged a hoe in a restaurant; paid players; forged transcripts; was lazy on the recruiting trail and spent too much time at the racetrack?

4 games as an interim HC with a 3-1 record? Really? That's hardly a sample size. That's a blip on the radar. That says very little.

Yeah St. Jean is such a beast in the video room that he's been part of a losing horrible staff for 4 years. Gimme some of that. NOT!

So many people beating down this guy's door. Dude you're in the vast minority.

Like I said the guy's strength is recruiting, not in-game coaching. More of the same. This program is going nowhere.

Lateral, mid-major moves. The rest of the college bball world doesn't even recognize St. John's. Mickey Mouse Head coach and program who are clueless.

Following a season in which SJ was ranked, won 20 games and made the NCAA tournament the program is on the cusp of staff changes that will realign a flawed recruiting model, strengthen ties to the local BB community, and bring an experienced assistant on board. No wonder you sound so unhinged. Maybe go have a nap on the divan with your Steve Lavin blow up doll, maybe this is all a dream and when you wake up the sky will once again be falling.

Hsu has head coaching experience beyond that. It was worth noting that he was given complete control of coaching duties and he answered the challenge well as interim head coach. Who the coach leaves the clipboard too says a lot. Do you think Mitch or Matt would have been given that nod.

You’re just wrong about St. Jean. He is known by all knowledgeable basketball people as a very talented basketball mind. I get that you are frustrated with Mullin but that doesn’t mean you have to knock everything. We made the tournament so some things have to have been good.

I think the assistant staff sucked last year. Mitch was dead weight in his role and Matt was nonexistent as a coach. St. Jean-Hsu-Borman is a different world.

I truly hope you're right. I hope that Hsu can call a game, make adjustments in-game and put together a semblance of an organized system on both ends of the court.

There’s no reason to freak out. There’s also no reason to celebrate.

Let’s see what improvements coach Mullin makes and then evaluate them afterwards. Sound fair?
