What are you his cousin? He won 12 games! He’s been under .500 in conference his only two years.

MAYBE he won’t suck...that’s the best you can say about him. I think he does suck, will continue to suck, and will fired in two years.

Spare me the NY bs. He hasn’t recruited a single kid from the area.

Oklahoma State was terrible.

Yaa! You tell ‘em! 😄

Who is the school even considering at this point? The only solution is to hire Pitino. To think they wouldn't hire him because of bad press. I was excited for a new coach, but we should have given Mullin two more years. He certainly has his faults but this is just depressing. I hope these two jabronis are forced to step down.

Mike Anderson’s name has come up as a candidate of interest.

Not sure if he’s a Big East type coach but We can do a lot worse than him at this point. Not sure if he be interested in this mess. He’ll land somewhere next year

They are going to hire an African American not because he is qualified but it’s make administration bulletproof no one will criticize especially in today’s SJW narrative

In sports as in any other walks of life shit always rolls downhill. It's been the same with the Jets, Mets, Knicks for many years as we've all seen. This SJU debacle is just another example of that.

Good ideas to start going after Gemp and Oliva. As we heard from Repole the problem starts with those two and the weak ass board that goes along with these these two bozos.

Are there any flamboyantly gay coaches floating around? I'd sign up for that.

Hire Obama and you can satisfy both objectives

Mike Anderson is more than qualified but Gempesaw and Olivia don’t know him from hole in the wall. This is best PR move they can make other than hiring Pitino. The media will not criticize this hire and if you do you are a racist. Happened at Cal with Wykking Jones.

Hiring Mike Anderson is fine because he might actually be the best option for the job at this point. Hiring James Jones just because he's black would be stupid because then they'll have to be the ones to fire him in 4 years - if they are still here

You keep saying they will hire a black coach. No one is going to give a shit what color the coach is, hiring a black coach will not change the PR narrative for this school. They need a winning coach. One that's proven. It just so happens there is one who is interested, how in the world is he not hired yet? If there is a God Pitino will get the job.

On the bright side we are the lead on ESPN.com

Give it to Greg already! We know he wants it, will be relatively cheap and retain players. Give him a few years to if nothing else let the stench subside and we can try again.

Or, who knows, maybe he’ll be good.

Give him one year and then try to lure Billy Donovan away from the NBA

Billy is not coming here for 2 million per year. We need to open up the purse string to 3.5-4 million per and bring in Pitino.

You keep saying they will hire a black coach. No one is going to give a shit what color the coach is,

Len Elmore has been on Twitter talking about St John's need to honor its diversity pledge and how hiring a white candidate is a symptom of "MAGA." So at least one person gives a shit.
