Well, it’s true, if we finished the season with two conference wins, I could see the University deciding to cut their losses and move on. That possibility is based on more than just these last two seasons. They just hired a new President, and he may have another idea, or he just may not be as patient you are Marillac
That said, I’m not sure where you are these days with crazy conspiracy theories, and predictions like when you said Trump had it in the bag, but your take here is fair. We all need to chill out and give it some time.
It's not a "crazy conspiracy" theory to predict the outcome of an election.
I have not changed my stance on Anderson. The problem is that our fans only deal in extremes so it's confusing when a poster can both compliment and be critical of a coach. Everyone else chooses a favorite coach and then latches onto them like Gollum to his precious. Firing coaches clearly doesn't work here. We just keep getting different versions of the same caliber coach.
Anderson finishes his rosters well (like Norm but with a semblance of balance), had identified some diamonds in the rough, doesn't let his big men act like guards too much, etc. Those are all positives. But he is a below average X's and O's guy and doesn't seem to be able to land the real big recruits here. Even with his gimmicky system, I wonder how sustainable finding Champagnie and Wusu type talents really is long term. It really doesn't give him much room to make mistakes. E.g., Cole starting slower than he expected has been devastating. I'm sure he signed him thinking that was a 15 ppg player right out of the gate.
