Hell of a game between DePaul and Providence. Still is better for Providence to win and DePaul to lose (as long as SJU beats SH of course).

Depaul's win shot them up from 165 to 152 in the NET meaning we no longer have a quad 4 loss, which was a major blemish on our resume.

As usual, you are incapable of thinking outside of the SJU bubble because you have zero clue about what is going in college basketball outside of this program.

This is a down year for the Big East. As it was in 2019 when the team that finished first in the regular season and won the conference tournament didn't get better than a 6 seed. The team that finished Tied for 3rd and lost in the championship game got a 10 seed. It's not out of the realm of possibility that the team that finishes 4th and makes the championship is one of the first teams out this year. Especially a team with a home loss to Depaul.

I think one win will get us in. The Pac 12, the ACC. and A10 are garbage. BE is stronger than those conferences, and we had a winning record.

Who is going to steal our bid? Not Xavier. Maybe Seton Hall. I doubt it though.

I think Xavier has its bid to lose. SHU will be out with a loss.

I don

All these bracket projections or guesses, but it seems to be that BE will only get three in unless a “bid stealer” emerges. It’s seems like whoever wins today needs to make the BET finals to be considered for a bubble spot.

If GT beats Nova today, would that mean SJU would have to win the BET to make the Tourney?

Duke has a COVID issue and are officially out of the ACC tournament, they are no longer on the bubble.

Prayers to the person who has it and hopefully for a speedy recovery.

One win won't get us in unless every other team ahead of us goes loses early.

We still have to jump over:
Colorado State
Boise State
Syracuse
Utah State
Ole Miss
SMU

All of those teams are ahead of us right now and there's currently only 3 spots available. That number could fall to 2 or 1 if a bid stealer wins a conference tournament.

. Two wins will suffice. Bubble teams have been losing, Duke and syracuse both done

Easier to get those two wins now, as well. Hope Roberts can step up.

Beating Nova in the semis would have punched the ticket, IMO.  Now, we are subject to all other bubble teams taking a dump and/or no surprise bid stealing teams.

another year without even getting into the semifinals of the BET

Looks like they may turn down an NIT bid
