@Isaiah_W15 Wow, not even coming to see Minnesota and give us a look. #SMH

Not a very mature blogger if that's the case.

The word 'blogger' is pretty loose IMO.   But agreed give these kids the spotlight and don't be sore losers.

"It’s a privilege to play at St. Johns.”  - Isaiah's mother

I think IW changes the game plan for the two remaining vacancies.  With two top 25 young guards to go with three experienced seniors and our starting center graduating at year's end, the draw for a stud big man to come here has just gone through the roof.

...Okonoboh?  I'd love to pry our way in there...

I don't think anyone is out of reach with Jordan and Whitehead in the fold and Lavin full of swagger.

Dave had alluded to the fact that Okonoboh and Lavin texted a lot and that Goodluck really liked Lavs.  If it pushes to the spring, and it will, I cold envision us getting in there.  A backcourt of Jordan and Whitehead could really entice a lot of players.  Could be a very interesting spring.

Can someone repost the Whitehead highlight clips?
I  tried looking back through the thread but can't find them.

My prediction is we'll be in the mix with some bigs who wait till the spring.   And, if march rolls around and Jakarr looks like a lock to go pro, then we'll land a good pf.
Otherwise, we get a 'second tier' big man.  Somebody outside the top 100, or from JuCO.  Which wouldn't necessarily be bad either.

big men always seem to take longer to develop so if we can't land really good big men it might not be such a bad idea to go the juco route if we are going to land some big time 2015 recruits which some think

Also, at some point I think we could sign a foreign recruit.   Lavin has mentioned it before. I just don't know that the right player has been available at the right time for us.
But, that's always an option too.   Or somebody who transfers in December.
There will be ways for us to replace Sanchez and Gift even if its not with a top100.

Sounds like Seton Hall is making a late run at Isaiah Whitehead. Things getting interesting. Two horse race with St. John's.

It's really great when someone can just say this. It's covering your bases since he already said SJU I believe. Thankfully not many of our fans have run with it. Just let it go.

Someone form Whitehead's camp probably just threw out a curveball to give the poor kid somewhat of a chance to announce something that surprise someone.

What he is reporting is not false. Might be too little too late but they're going all in.
