Lavin outsmarted himself today. What a dope.

I am starting to think he doesn't want to be here anymore

Maybe his wife's acting career is taking off and he needs to head back to LA...

Players have clearly tuned Lavin out. Not sure I can blame them given the crap he keeps pulling.

On serious note, it is clear something is going on. This negative mess has potential of evolving into a total downward spiral. Who can blame anyone for leaving this ship at season's end? The impact on 15 recruiting is a major concern. Why would any good player want to be affiliated with such a poor, inexplicable mess? I could go on and on, but what's the point. Losing is one thing, but not trying to win is another.

In crappy mood, but my gut tells me Lavin is ready to bail after this year. Health, family, desire to return to roots, wife's acting career, just pick whatever excuse works. Masiello, Bobby Hurley or someone else hopefully will have his work cut out for him.

Anyone notice some particular posters who have not shown up on either site.  One particular bully who would constantly put down anyone who criticisized the almighty Steve Lavin and the other the eternal optimist.  I just wonder what they think of this debacle.

Dude, don't revel in the team's disarray.
The homers get on my nerves too when they ignore fact and reason.   But we're a st johns bball community.
I'd rather the team win then get to say "I told you so" to the Lavin hype men.

Losing like this is bad enough, you don't need to shove it in people's faces.

I'm going outside to play in the snow.

I just came in from sleigh riding with the kids, turned on the game and said, kids, get your boots back on, because I'd rather freeze outside some more than watch this mess. How can we look so lost?  Lavin is losing this team.

I don't know if you saw, but he started N'daye and Balamou.       Really.

To the extent that the local papers even cover us, they're going to start turning against Lavin.   That's the next phase.
I know to be more patient than this, and things are rarely ever as bad as they seem during the darkest hour... but really, the signs are ominous.   I'm ready to start a thread suggesting who could be the next coach.

Just don't think this team is as talented as everyone thinks. Each player has major flaws and none can shoot at a good clip.

0% 3FG
44% FT

Arsenal game over.  Do I watch the 2nd half?  What the heck.  I have a few witty comments up my sleeve.

Is Patrick Ewing in the game?  How do you think a game like this affects recruiting, especially since GTown and St. John's are after the same players.  And let's stop with this nonsence about the great recruiter.  Lavin has signed one player in the last two recruited classes.

This is a disaster. And after much maligning of Seton Halls coach,   Anyone who thinks that Lavin is a better coach then Willard is delusional.
