More Bad News Coming?

At this point, I hope Lavin takes the Cal job.  Need to get a no nonsense workhorse in here.  Somebody with a real vision of what he wants to do.  Let Cal figure out the financials.

So to recap, Lav rumored to Cal, Dlo to Houston per Baldi (quick work by K.Sampson), Phil and Rysheed also going. Anybody else we should be concerned about? This is going to be one hellava week, if any of this is true!

I guess is safe to say JayOn would not be on Lavin's staff at Cal if he left.   

Maybe Jayon is Lavin. LOL

I just heard that Syracuse is acquiring SJU so they will have a city campus so they can officially claim that they are NYS and NYC team. Lavin and Harrington were in the deal makers and that is why Father Harrington had to step down to focus on this, and why Lavin couldn't focus on recruits for this year.

Well apparently Rysheed just tweeted or rather retweeted that Phil Greene is leaving and announcement tomorrow.  Looks like we are dropping like flies.

Let's see how it plays out tomorrow. If we can't have a successful season tomorrow, maybe we can at least get our fired. That has got to be a strong possibility. It seems he has no way to fix this mess, because it doesn't seem like he's trying to.

I think he'd have a hard time getting the Cal job.  The resume' is deteriorated.   Maybe the San Francisco Dons job is more apropos.  I know he was interested in that one when he took SJU job.

I can't see any way possible Cal even seriously considers this guy. You'd have to figure that they'd do their research and see that the program he is currently leading just underachieved, his players are leaving at an alarming rate and the program seems to be in disarray. With that said, if Cal somehow does hire him it would be one of the best things to happen to this program in over a decade

I certainly wouldn't badmouth him to Cal if I were CM. Saves you $3.5 million and gives you a fresh start if he leaves on his own.

Greene asked for his release over two weeks ago and his people have been calling schools since..
