Lavin is in some deep sh*t if he doesn't get Sanchez on the court.

Why is he in deep s**t? It's not like this is a surprise. Makes Lawrence a absolutely must get.

I know that the staff doesn't have to tell us anything, but if it is the true story, it pisses me off that we didn't know the details sooner.

If Zags story true, why this recent Robbins article, obviously facilitated by someone from SJ BBall program?

I'm hoping Zags got some bad info. If the staff is feeding Lenny totally shit info that just makes them look really bad.

Exactly

Its not the crime, its the cover up that does you in.

We need a full scale investigatoryizing!

Len's story if i remember quoted someone from the STJ administration.  Zag's quotes an outside source.

Given how all this has gone down, I tend to believe Zags.  STJ has not been completely honest with this from the start.

He runs the show. He gets the credit when they win.

Lawrence is irrelevant. I don't give a crap. Aren't you getting tired of reading about recruits when most of them stink anyway, and the other half have some ridiculous eligibility issue?

Just received this reply in response to validity of Zag's article;

“@STJ_Basketball: @rgsaunders1 Yes, our reaction is in the article and it is accurate and factual. #stjbb”

That means the staff was not accurate and factual with the fans. That is wrong.

Not a pessimistic as you right now, when you have to recruit a lot of players at once, it's part of the game. I also don't think our players stink!

What I don't understand why hold back the information on Sanchez, doesn't make much sense. What was to be gained?

I like a lot of our players but they are inexperienced as far as leadership goes, have to be patient not much choice.

Again to be fair certain things do not and still don't have to be revealed.  There is a privacy issue.  As for why they didn't come out and say he was ineligible to play and they were fighting it?  I don't know.  Maybe one of our 'esteemed' beat writers will ask him.  (Don't hold your breath)

There are some things which we might hate, but they are what they are. Like Harkless bolting to
sit on the Magic bench. But if they knew that Sanchez wasn't going to play, why sit Gift? I don't buy this bs about him not being needed. At least he's an adult. And if the staff isn't going to show an ounce of leadership, someone should.

Gift is serviceable. He's not great by any means, but we need him.

If we knew in November orlando wasnt gonna be eligible then why was orlando still on our bench until before the holidays, hopefully robbins has some info from someone that would change the NCAAs mind about it but I doubt it.  I think Robbins was the one who said MoMo Jones was a lock for transfering to STJ. This really sucks we needed his presence downlow, Lavin needs to put in Gift now for Big East play.

Because they are trying to get the NCAA to change the outcome.  Like Bazz on UCLA was ineligible but still around.  And again it needs to be stressed the kid is eligible academically.

We can't start saying Lenn said this and was right vs. wrong.  They have all been right.  They have all been wrong.  Zags, Lenn, Rubin, etc....

Like Choz says the coverup is worse then the crime. Lavin , in Nov, made it sound like it was a classification problem.IMO . he should have been more forthright w us then .  RE. Gift I think Lavin should not have redshirted him , but at this point might as well wait till next year.

I think we play Gift this year and hope Lavin can recruit another big better than Gift for next year.
