Hopefully it's on the Fox Network and not Fox 1

Well good news is we will have tickets.

Lets just hope our fans don't flip the tickets for some SB gambling money.

The Knicks game is at 8:30.  Probably either noon/2 or 1/3 tip times.

This can't be stressed enough, but we better be the featured attraction and not the undercard in our own house.

Especially with the Knicks following only hours later, our fellow tenants, it should be expected that we are hosting this event and Marq/StJohn's will follow GTown/MSt.

Lavs has created a showcase, primetime feel to the program, and although it may be subtle, these things matter. I'd also love to have the Johnnies exit the Knicks locker room fresh off a big time W as the they're getting ready for Lebron.

I wonder what ACC/ESPN pundits now have to say about MSG's commitment to the Big East?

Is it definite that we'll have tickets to the doubleheader and it won't be a separate admission?

Doubt they would do that logistically. Also, better to play before one good crowd rather than two fair ones IMO.

Separate admission won't fly.  SJU advertised Marquette game to old and new season ticket holders so its a season ticket game and the Gtown and State game will fill out the Garden.

Wow-surprised the Knicks are playing opposite the SB; could hurt the attendance/TV audience.  they would have been better off if they had a noon/1PM start as they own the Garden.  This is obviously better for us but we will probably be on Fox Sports 1; particularly if we are the late game..There is no way Fox will give up the pre-game revenues from advertisements.

This is the day before the Super Bowl.  No one would go up against the Super Bowl.

I think the Johnnies got creamed by Minnesota to day of a super bowl years back.

I am all for making money, but if we are the undercard at the garden it is beyond embarssing. Do u guys remember big east sec game where we played Georgia? At the start of our game there were less fans then workers, no exaggeration. Place sold out for uconn Kentucky

That game was a home game. It was considered a neutral site game. All signs point to this being our home game so season ticket holders will be there and not a repeat of that game.

So, if our season ticket sales skyrocketted (theoretically sold out a la Creighton) there would be no tickets to distribute to the other teams?  I can't recall ever hearing of a double header being a home conference game for one school.

Tickets are always put aside for visiting teams. Since we don't have skyrocketing ticket sales it's a moot point.  As for the first time welcome to college sports 2013. There be a first time for everything.

What makes you so convinced we are the undercard?

We'll wait and see but I think we get a noon start.
