gathers at the three? dont see it. were thin up front but have plenty of small forward depth

my guess would be if sampson and gathers were on the court at the same time and we were in man2man than gathers would guard the four.

Gathers is at least 6'7" and 240.  Don't think any lack of size would be an issue.

St Peters uglied up the games against Fairfield and Iona, made them play that type of game. Iona didnt have Kyle Smyth(the teams best shooter and defender). Also Rashad James is eligible, teams gets a helluva lot more athletic. Some things break the right way, Gaels just might end up in Sweet 16

Looks like we will be going three guards deep at all times between Nuri, Harrison, Greene, and Stith...with Harkless as our starting four and Pointer playing 3-5. GG will need to play 30-35 mpg.

On the bright side, Moose said that GG was very careful about picking up fouls when he saw him play.

Hopefully GG is better than expected, but Im not too sure hes better than any of the bigs we've had in recent years.
