I grew up on All My Children.  My mom would 'tape' it every day.

Ex-wife got me started in 1983. Watched it with present wife till it ended last year. Ist wife's brother went to high school with La Lucci in Garden City.

My drivers ed teacher was in love with Lucci -- he used to make us practice three-point turns in her driveway. Never got a glimpse of her, though.

I used to see her all the time at lunch at the 7th st cafe in garden city. She's pretty good looking all things considered ( like her being 90. lol )

I was 10, it was the beginning of the summer and I had a cast on my leg when I started watching it as nothing else was on (pre-cable, Queens only had Channels 2 -13 and maybe 25) and my mom would watch it.

Sorry but AMC was very popular show especially with pro athletes. Recall reading many articles on players who when asked how they spent their free time during the day would say they were hooked on AMC. Back to Felix-could have sworn I read a post somewhere that he had signed LOI because poster further stated that this should end speculation of glut of guards and needing extra schollie for a big would result in Felix either not coming or reclassifying to 13. May have been on redmen.

Page 12 of this thread, at the top mentions Zags tweeted that Felix did sign his LOI.

Really pleased that Balamou signed his letter of intent -- old news now, but I am still happy about it.

Curious that Balamou is from Guinea.  Anyone know of any other basketball players from Guinea who have played in the NCAAs or even NBA?

I love hearing good news about this kid after all the crap that is said about him not being a rotation player.

Finally some reinforcements for my boy Felix, super underrated and my favorite get thus far. Kid can score and play defense how can't you love him?

I think he is a lot better then the recruiting services had him ranked. A nice pick up for Lavin.
