We all want to know what the class is going to look like. The time is coming. We just have to be patient. it sucks watching other schools load up and fill their rosters. But, sometimes it works out like that.

Recruiting is a marathon, not a sprint.

Trust the process. Lavin has made a few laps around the track. We are in good hands. Let's wait and see how this shakes out, my two cents.

We waited for the roster to be filled last year and it never was.  It's not as if we haven't waited at all.  This year Branch was recruited by Harrison and Sampson was a prior recruit retrieved.  In my book that makes Balamou this year's class so far and he plays a position where we're stacked.  What process?
So who are you going to give credit to for Sanchez and Marco ? Felipe and one of the teachers at our Paris Campus ?

Never had a doubt on this duo, but agree that Chandler would be the wow factor.
Kudos to Moose for his call on these great additions!

I really like the strategy by the staff.  Bring in very good juco kids to win right away and help bring young kids along.  With the large classes the staff has had to fill, it's good to have these upper clansmen on roster who can play right away and be a major factor.  IMO, as we get better and smaller classes to recruit, we will see more high school kids that the staff is honing on to make our recruiting classes in the future.   Very excited about this team that's in the making.  Give me Chandler or CO and we will be a 20 win team next year.

What do you mean one more? We don't have one center.

If we get a legit center like Chandler, I think that him and Gift can handle the center position.  I agree that you would ideally want two 6'10 plus guys, but lots of teams play with 6'7/6'8 bangers for stretches.

Orlando and Marco are great fits for the team.

BTW - In response to your question: No these guys.  If you're a baller walking the streets of Monroe and you do not commit to SJ's, you get this treatment.  FH has his connections ya know  ;D

ed note- I go on the assumption many of you know about Monroe. No, not Earl Monroe....

Welcome Orlando.  Can't wait to see you leave your imprint on the Garden.

Also like the fact that he is a JC.  He will add maturity to the team having played in the JC championship tourney the last 2 years and will help our scholarship distribution.

Never had a doubt on this duo,

Truer words never spoke.

This was in the bag for over a month.

And y'all can thank the most maligned member of the staff for the early and constant attention.

Peace out!

Those that have seen him play in person, what do you think? How will his game translate to the Big East?
