8 of our out of conference games are on national TV.  This TV deal is the best thing to ever happen to us.

We now have a TV partner and an apparel partner/sponsor for whom our success is a priority because its vital to grow their business. That is very, very god indeed.

When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

I guess they figure they will get a decent crowd at MSG on the weekend, where as providence on a weeknight at msg might not draw.

I want to go to FU and Nova games with my sis (grad alum of them).  I like watching her have conflicting feelings during those games!

Yep and if we are good and it's our last home game it will be a big draw.

Dont mean to be Mr grumpy again over this but...... that ooc schedule is garbage!

The Brooklyn Hoops Winter Festival includes Kansas St, VCU & Boston College... but we are playing Colombia?!

Monmouth, Longwood, Youngstown St. Are these games supposed to test the players endurance for boredom?

Yes, both events are currently scheduled for that evening.  However, there is no Knicks or Rangers home game scheduled for that day, so one or the other will likely be moved to the afternoon.  I don't think you have to worry about losing MSG entierly for it.

And will probably as usual end before the season does. They always limit it to 10 weeks, heaven forbid they extend it 2 or 3 episodes if we are in post season play!

There hasn't been anything to report in March. Anyway, that's a horribly produced show. Looks like public access tv.

I concur.  I thought I saw Wayne Campbell's mom in the background last year

Couple of questions...
1) What is FSN  or Fox Sports National.    Note that it is different than Fox Sports 1.   Because that is the channel our game @ Butler is on.

Also, I think the Fox deal will turn out being a great thing for the quasi-new league, but it does come with negatives.
How many people here don't have CBS College Sports?    What about the Big10 network?  I'm sure not everyone gets that either.  And as I mentioned, I don't even know what FSN is.

I'm fine with buying the sports package to get all our games.   But we are the diehards.  The average fan isn't buying a package to see SJU in those additional games.   Last year they would've been on ESPNU or SNY.   Just sayin

FSN is broadcast on MSG/MSG+ and other regional networks through out the country. They do an ACC game of the week on Sunday Nights.

Ok, thank you.   Surprised they don't just list it on msg then.   In past seasons if we were getting a regional broadcast from espn or fox they would just list sny or msg.
